Sheila Holian Sheila Holian died after being struck by a car in Co Mayo. A PEDESTRIAN WHO died after being hit by a car in Co Mayo has been named locally. Sheila Holian (81) of Glebe Street, Ballinrobe, died at Mayo University Hospital on Saturday from injuries sustained from being struck by a car while she was walking near her home last Thursday afternoon. She died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Locals said the mother of four had a long association with a number of local organisations, including Ballinrobe Golf Club. Local councillor Michael Burke from Ballinrobe said the town is both shocked and devastated by the sad loss of one of Ballinrobe’s most popular and best-loved personalities. “Sheila lived in Glebe Street all her life and was such an integral figure within the to
