Treasury Sued Over Lawsuit Settlement Payouts to Trump Allies

The US Treasury Department was sued by a nonprofit group claiming the government is improperly withholding legal settlements that the Trump administration could use to cover payouts to pardoned Jan. 6 defendants and other supporters of the president.
