Tragedy as motorcyclist, 28, killed in Wigan crash involving bus

Emergency services descended on Wigan Road, at the junction of Alexandra Road, in Ashton-in-Makerfield at 11.54pm last night (August 6).‌Greater Manchester Police says a bus collided with a motorbike at the scene. The rider, a 28-year-old man, suffered life-threatening injuries from the crash.‌He was rushed to hospital for treatment, but sadly died from his injuries.
