The wooden building was closed to the public in 2024 amid dwindling usage.The building is situated in the existing Station Yard car park in the centre of the village. Residents and visitors have raised issues with motorbikes parking on pavements in the area.The move was agreed by North Sunderland Parish Council, after issues arose with plans to let the building out. The detailed design is still being worked on, but work on the demolition is expected to start in the winter.Seahouses is one
