Total of Cook County property taxes billed goes up for the 32nd consecutive year, treasurer's office says

With Cook County’s 2025 property tax bills set to go out by the end of the month, a new report from county Treasurer Maria Pappas’ office finds the total amount of property taxes billed has risen for the 32nd consecutive year.
