TNSTC conductor suspended in Tirupattur for smoking inside bus

A bus conductor of Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) was suspended in Tirupattur on Thursday for smoking while on duty.TNSTC officials said the bus conductor, S. Jaya Prakash, 51, is a native of Tirupattur. Transport officials said that a commuter recorded a video of Jaya Prakash smoking in a bus on the way to Krishnagiri. The video of the incident, which happened a few days ago, went viral on social media platforms and triggered public outcry.
