TIMS Sanathnagar renamed after former Chief Minister Marri Chenna Reddy, Narendra Kumar appointed In-charge Director

The Telangana government has renamed the Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS), Sanathnagar, as Dr. Marri Chenna Reddy Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences, Sanathnagar, while also appointing Director of Medical Education (DME) Dr. A. Narendra Kumar as the institute’s In-charge Director following his retirement from government service on July 31. The orders were issued by Health Secretary Christina Z. Chongthu on July 30.The appointment of Dr. Kumar will take effect from August 1 on a temporary basis and will continue until a regular Director is appointed or until the need for the arrangement ceases, whichever is earlier.
