Marc Challener has now been jailed05:30, 28 Jul 2026A thug who punched his girlfriend and told her to 'blame it on her dog' when police came knocking has been locked up.‌Marc Challener knocked his partner Danielle Wilkes unconscious after throwing a single punch at her face during a row in her home.‌The 46-year-old left his victim bleeding from the ear and with a swollen eye but told her to pretend it was an accident when she came to.‌A member of the public raised the alarm with officers after hearing a 'commotion' but Ms Wilkes felt 'unable to tell the police the truth'.Two days later, Challener throttled his partner - and then had the 'audacity' to say he was going to report her to police.He later lied to officers, insisting his victim had hurt herself and he was not to blame.‌READ MORE:
