Two drown in Tironoi river in Ranisankail 40 SEC(s) UPDATED 40 SEC(s) Illustration: STAR Three children drowned in separate incidents in Ranisankail and Bhulli upazilas of Thakurgaon today.In Ranisankail, two children drowned in the Tironoi river in the Jagdal Nadibasti area under Kashipur union in the afternoon.The deceased were Ehsan, 5, son of Zahid Hasan, and Kawsar, 4, son of Kalam. Both were residents of Jagdal Nadibasti area, said police.Quoting locals, Khoka Chandra Roy, sub-inspector of Ranisankail Police Station, told The Daily Star that Ehsan had gone to the riverbank in the morning with his father and Kawsar to play.Zahid later left the riverbank to attend to some work.Locals suspect the two children went into the river sometime after afternoon and drowned after being swept awa
