He may be the best reliever you've never heard of. Well, you're probably aware of him if you consistently watch New York Yankees games. He's left-hander Brent Headrick, and he's already made 61 appearances for the Yankees in 2026. In 60.1 innings, Headrick has a 1.49 ERA with 73 strikeouts and just three home runs allowed. Outside of closer David Bednar, the 28-year-old should be considered manager Aaron Boone's most trusted reliever. His performance this season should have earned Headrick an All-Star selection.
