Thieves break into Rochdale deli and leave with a can of Fanta and a pack of cigarettes

They didn't get away with much18:21, 20 Aug 2026A deli in Rochdale was broken into but thieves only got away with a can of Fanta and a pack of cigarettes.‌Rachel Ward only opened the Healey Deli, on Market Street in Whitworth, back in October, but in a short space of time it has managed to build up a reputation for its sandwiches, breakfasts, drinks, and ice cream sundaes.‌In the early hours of Tuesday morning (August 18), Rachel claimed the shop door was broken into, with thieves smashing a window and using a crowbar to break into a till.
