Therme Manchester bosses give update on £500m project as 'one of the biggest wellbeing resorts in the world' moves closer
A 'key milestone' has been achieved17:08, 14 Aug 2026The £500m Therme Manchester wellbeing resort has hit a ‘key milestone’, company bosses say.Billed as ‘one of the biggest well-being resorts in the world’, it promises ‘affordable-priced luxury’ with lagoon and wave pools, multi-sensory sauna rituals, steam rooms and multiple water slides and Olympic-sized pools. The project has been years in the making, with completion expected in late 2028.While the land next to the Trafford centre remains more building site than resort, bosses say work there is ‘progressing well’.
