The order, which ran until July 15, gave officers extended stop and search powers. It also led to extra officers patrolling to provide a visible presence in hopes to prevent crime and anti-social behaviour.‌Rock Ferry local Stephen Robinson was keen to stick up for the area and its reputation, saying crime is 'just a part of life'.
