The meal service that finally got me out of my food rut
I was in a food rut. Every week, I bought the same groceries and made whatever took the least amount of effort, usually defaulting to the same meal on repeat — think turkey, rice and vegetables. Nothing exciting. It’s not that I hate cooking (I don’t). What I hate is buying a million ingredients for one dish and the time-consuming nature of planning my meals, then having to clean up after. Especially in my tiny New York kitchen with zero counter space, coming home tired and hungry only to realize I still have to cook is a recipe for frustration. But, as a health freak, what goes into my body is my number one priority.
