Learn more > The Basketball Tournament has unveiled a new format for 2026 and doubled its winner-take-all prize to $2 million.This year's tournament will feature 16 teams split into two separate brackets: eight alumni teams and eight non-alumni teams. The Alumni Bracket will be played on college campuses across the country, headlined by a series between Kentucky alumni and Louisville alumni. The Non-Alumni Bracket is open to applications and will be played entirely in Las Vegas.
