TGSRTC staff return bag containing ₹2 lakh cash, laptop to passenger

Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) staff at the Medchal depot won praise for their honesty after returning a passenger’s bag containing nearly ₹2 lakh in cash, an Apple laptop and other valuables.The bag was found by conductor Govind during the return journey of a bus. After noticing that it had been left behind by a passenger, he informed depot assistant manager and Circle Inspector G. Ramarao.The staff checked the contents and found around ₹2 lakh in cash, an Apple laptop, two purses, a charger, clothes and an office identity card. They then used a contact number found inside the bag to trace its owner, identified as Prashanth.The passenger was contacted and asked to come to the Medchal depot, where the bag and all its contents were handed back to him safely.
