Ellis was fatally shot on Sunday, June 23 2024 at the Liver Industrial Estate aged 19.‌Ellis and his friends had been out for the day and were returning home when they were approached by a number of people on electric bikes near Taskers on the Liver Industrial estate at around 10.50pm. Ellis attempted to leave the area but was fatally shot in the back.
