Tennessee governor backs plans to name Nashville airport after Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton’s home state of Tennessee will pay tribute to the music legend by naming Nashville International Airport after her. Tennessee Governor Bill Lee said it was "fitting" that the airport would "bear the name of our state’s favourite daughter."
