Telangana CM to launch distribution of laminated ration cards on August 15

The image is used for representative purposes only. | Photo Credit: MOHD ARIF Telangana Government would launch the distribution of 1.05 crore laminated Public Distribution System Ration Cards on August 15, 2026, on the occasion of Independence Day. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy would formally commence the distribution in Sangareddy. It will be simultaneously rolled out in 119 Assembly constituencies. The old cards will be replaced with the new ones. The ratio cards that people now hold have names and a family photo of a beneficiary. It was learnt that the new card will have a number and QR code, which can be used to fetch details of the beneficiaries online. It
