The crash involved a yellow Volkswagen Golf and a blue Toyota Aygo.Paramedics raced to the incident but sadly the driver of the Toyota, a 17-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been made aware.The occupants of the Volkswagen were not at the scene when police arrived and inquiries were carried out to trace them.
