Teenage motorcyclist killed in crash causing six-hour road closure
The incident took place on the B9031 in Aberdeenshire (Picture: Google Maps) A teenage motorcyclist has died in a one-vehicle collision in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The 17-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene on the B9031 Macduff to Fraserburgh road, following the crash at around 5.30pm on Monday. Police are appealing for information and say it involved a black Honda CB500 motorcycle. They added that it happened west of the junction for Pennan. The road was shut for around six hours to allow officers to investigate. It has since reopened.
