Teen boy dies after falling 100 feet from abandoned structure in Joliet

A 16-year-old boy died early Sunday after falling from an abandoned Joliet industrial building, authorities said. The boy was with four friends exploring the building, an old rock quarry structure near Louise Ray Parkway and east of Collins Street, according to a statement from the Joliet Police Department.
