Taylor Sheridan reveals fate of long-awaited ‘Yellowstone’ spinoff ‘6666’

Taylor Sheridan is closing the barn doors on the “Yellowstone” spinoff “6666” for good. Fans of the “Yellowstone” universe were excited about the spinoff — which was supposed to center on Sheridan’s real-life Four Sixes ranch in West Texas — after Paramount+ announced it back in February 2021, but the TV creator dropped the bad news on the “Rodeo Time” podcast Monday. “There’s never going to be one; I would never fictionalize that ranch,” he said. “People thought that that was going to be a thing, but I would never do that.” The writer and director explained that he didn’t want to disrespect the real people working on the ranch.
