With the MLB trade deadline just days away, the star southpaw’s chances of being dealt are steadily increasing, according to Kalshi. As Detroit struggles to remain in the postseason race, Skubal’s chances of staying with the franchise through the deadline have dropped to just 13 percent — meaning the market gives him an 87 percent chance of being traded. As recently as a week ago, there was a 20 percent chance that Skubal would remain in the Motor City. Meanwhile, two National League contenders are gaining steam in the race for the two-time Cy Young Award winner.
