Tahsildar in Dindigul relieved from post after ordering collection of CPI, CPI(M) members’ details

M. Ayyasamy, the tahsildar of Guziliamparai in Dindigul district, issued the order on August 18 and directed officials to submit the details by the evening, failing which action would be taken; later, the Dindigul Collector issued an official note stating the Tahsildar’s order was being “immediately withdrawn”
