Swiss unions seek 2% pay rise, employers back 1%
Switzerland's wage negotiations for 2027 are shaping up to be tense. Trade union umbrella group Travail.Suisse on Monday called for a general wage increase of 2% next year. The Swiss Employers' Union (UPS), however, said an average pay rise of around 1% would be more in line with the economic outlook.
