Swansea's A Level results see city beat Wales average for top grades

In Swansea 34.2% of students achieved the top A*-A grades compared with 29.6% across Wales. The overall pass rate for Swansea at grades A* to E is 97.4%, slightly below thee Welsh average of 97.7%‌Overall eight in 10 grades were C or better for students in Swansea. More than 600 young people from Swansea's schools with sixth forms got their A Level results today and go on to university, further education, training or employment.‌‌Swansea's Bishop Gore School saw 100% of Year 13 pupils achieving at least two A*-E A Level or BTEC grades.83% achieved at least three A*-C
