Suspect named and charged with attempted murder after Northern Quarter stabbing

Officers were called out to Church Street at 12.50pm on Friday (July 31).Greater Manchester Police says a 19-year-old man had been stabbed. A 21-year-old man was later arrested in connection with the incident.In an update issued this afternoon (Sunday), Greater Manchester Police confirmed he had since been charged.
