Suspect busted after Molotov cocktails hurled at two religious buildings in Queens
A suspect is in custody after chucking Molotov cocktails at two religious buildings in Queens late Wednesday night, according to police. The 36-year-old man allegedly hurled a firebomb at the front door of the Iglesia Bautista El Mesias church on 75th Street in Ozone Park, which exploded and caused a small fire just before midnight, police said. He then walked less than a mile to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on 78th Street in Woodhaven and threw another Molotov cocktail at the building’s front door, which again smashed and sparked a blaze. The firebombs were hurled at two nearby religious buildings in Queens late Wednesday night. Kevin C.
