Supermarkets urgently recall milk found to contain veterinary medicines

Shoppers can return the items for a full refund (Picture: Shutterstock / 1000 Words) A brand of milk sold at multiple UK supermarkets has been recalled after it was found to contain veterinary medicines, including antibiotics. Graham’s Family Dairy has urged shoppers not to consume its semi-skimmed milk as it is ‘unsafe to consume and may be a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to antibiotics’. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) says one-pint, one-litre, and two-litre bottles with a best-before date of July 31, 2026 are all affected. The milk is sold at supermarkets including Tesco, Asda, and Morrisons. Those who have bought affected products can return them for a full refund.
