NewsLatest Wales NewsTraffic and TravelDisruption is expected in a part of the city15:08, 09 Jul 2026Motorists can expect delays in a part of Cardiff later this summer as a major route will be closed off to traffic for more than a month.‌Cardiff council has confirmed a section of Bute Street, which connects the city centre with Cardiff Bay, will be closed to traffic from 7.30pm on Friday, July 24, so that roadworks can be carried out.‌The closure will be in place for more than five weeks and run until September 1.
