Stockport restaurant makes plea after 36 guests fail to turn up for booking

'A simple message can make a big difference'16:42, 31 Aug 2026Updated 16:45, 31 Aug 2026A Stockport restaurant has issued a plea after suffering a ‘difficult night’ after a large booking failed to show up at the weekend.‌Tapas bar and restaurant Casa De Casa, on Heaton Moor Road, took to social media on Sunday to post about an incident on Saturday night (August 29) where a booking of 36 guests had made a no show.‌The independent venue, which opened in the former Town Bar spot in 2018 under its original name Casa De Moor, said it had prepared extra food and staffed accordingly for the booking and said the party’s failure to turn up has led to it suffering a ‘significant loss’ as a result.‌Click here for the latest on Manchester's food & drink scene, gigs and more in our CityLife newsletterI
