State police seek information in fatal hit-and-run on I-94

Illinois State Police are asking for the public’s help after a person was fatally struck in a hit-and-run early Friday on Interstate 94. State police said the victim was standing in front of a red Jeep SUV along I-94 at 47th Street at 2:39 a.m. Friday, when they were struck by a vehicle. The Jeep was in the center lane, and its driver was outside the vehicle when the person was hit.
