State fulfils promise, releases ₹6,000 crore employee dues
Finance Department says remaining pending dues will be settled in a phased mannerThe State government on Thursday released the third instalment of ₹2,000 crore towards pending dues of employees and pensioners, completing its commitment to disburse ₹6,000 crore within 100 days.According to the Finance Department, Principal Secretary (Finance) K. Sandeep Kumar Sultania released the funds following the directions of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.With the latest release, the government has paid a total of ₹6,000 crore in three equal instalments of ₹2,000 crore each.
