St. John’s hiring former Rick Pitino player Peyton Siva as assistant coach

St. John’s is adding reinforcements to its coaching staff. The Johnnies are hiring Peyton Siva as an assistant coach, The Post’s Zach Braziller reported Saturday. Siva, 35, has history with head coach Rick Pitino, having starred under him as a player while at Louisville from 2009-13, and he was on the Cardinals’ NCAA championship team in 2012-13.
