Richard Rainford, 65, from St Helens, has been selling trees at Rainford’s Christmas Tree Land since he left school more than four decades ago.The business, found at Catchdale Moss Farm, in Eccleston, prides itself on being “Merseyside's only home-grown Christmas tree farm”, selling thousands each winter.
