Sri Sathya Sai birth centenary celebrations culminate with 5K Run and Ride

The grand finale of the “Sri Sathya Sai 5K Run and Ride – A Spirit of Unity” was held here on Sunday with more than 19,000 participants, marking the culmination of the birth centenary celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.Organised by the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, the nationwide initiative reportedly witnessed the participation of more than one lakh people across 46 cities.R. J. Rathnakar, Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, and Nimish Pandya, All India president of the organisation, flagged off the event at the Sri Sathya Sai Hill View Stadium. District Collector A. Shyam Prasad and Superintendent of Police S. Satish Kumar were present.Addressing the gathering, Mr. Rathnakar underscored the importance of physical fitness, selfless service and human values
