She’ll play Assistant Special Agent in Charge Robyn Wells, the director of the NCIS New York field office. LL Cool J and Caan’s characters, Sam Hanna and Nick Schaeffer, are Robyn’s employees. According to a character description, Robyn leads with her intuition and is widely respected by her team.Beals, 62, is best known for her roles as Alexandra Owens in “Flashdance” and Bette Porter in “The L Word.” CBS made three other “NCIS: New York” casting announcements this week.
