Spain extends Almaraz nuclear plant operations to 2030, delaying closure by three years

Almaraz will remain in operation until 2030 after a decision by Pedro Sánchez's Government, a move warmly welcomed in the Extremadura region, which was hit by a major blackout in April last year and where the plant employs some 4,000 people.
