Southeastern Korea hit by nearly 800 mm of rain, floods and landslides
After weeks of drought, torrential rain has triggered flooding and landslides across southeastern South Korea, with nearly 800 millimeters falling in parts of South Gyeongsang Province since Saturday. At least one person was killed, two others suffered minor injuries, and hundreds of residents were evacuated as roads flooded and landslides disrupted transportation.
