[Shabelle] Mogadishu, Aug. 5 -- Heavy fighting erupted on Wednesday on the eastern outskirts of Galkayo in central Somalia, with Puntland security forces battling fighters from the Puntland Security Force (PSF), who Puntland authorities allege are backed by Somalia's federal government.
