Socialist NY lawmaker Emily Gallagher says shoplifting for ‘biological need’ is OK

A Brooklyn socialist lawmaker proclaimed this week that shoplifters have a right to steal items like soap and toothpaste from local drugstores without getting arrested because they have a “biological need.”
