Realignment led to seismic changes in college football this decade. The Pac-12 is no longer a power conference. Texas and Oklahoma are in the SEC, and USC and UCLA are in the Big Ten, moves that shifted the entire landscape along with NIL and the creation of the transfer portal. A lot has changed this decade, and there is sure to be more to come. But elite talent continues to flow through college football. As part of celebrating it's 140th anniversary, Sporting News decided to name multiple All-America teams. We are halfway through the 2020s, but this team stands up to all the others. Boise State's Ashton Jeanty and Indiana's Fernando Mendoza – who led the Hoosiers to a 16-0 record and the 2025 national championship – lead the offense.
