The scheme will see 12 one and two bedroom flats built and offered at social rent in the village of Pontycymer at the site of the former Ffaldau Arms.‌The building was destroyed in a fire in 2007 and demolished shortly after, leaving the site empty.‌Following council approval, the proposals from Bridgend-based housing association Valleys to Coast are now set to be delivered.
