Shivamogga police return stolen valuables recovered in theft cases

Dinesh The police on Monday returned valuables worth over ₹5.73 crore, recovered in theft and dacoity cases, to the complainants. The stolen valuables were recovered in connection with 174 theft cases.Inspector-General of Police, Eastern Range, B.R. Ravikanth Gowda, Shivamogga Superintendent of Police B. Nikhil, and other officers handed over the valuables to the rightful owners.Of the cases detected, 142 were reported in 2026 and the remaining 32 were registered in 2025.
