Sheds damaged in fire in Bagalkot

As many as 29 sheds of farmers displaced by floods caught fire in Iddalagi in Bagalkot district on Sunday night. No one was injured as all the residents had gone to a temple for a religious ritual.Deputy Commissioner Sangappa, who visited the spot, spoke to the affected families.They told him they have lost their clothes, food items and books. He instructed officials to set up a relief centre to house them till their sheds are rebuilt.They were shifted to the sheds after floods 17 years ago.
