Seven eateries in Kochi inspected

Seven eateries in Kochi city were inspected on Monday (August 17, 2026) as part of a joint food safety drive by the Health department, Food Safety wing, Kochi Corporation’s Health wing and the police.Fines totalling ₹4,500 were imposed on shops where violations were detected. The inspections were conducted at outlets in the Ernakulam town area.
