SCR urged to expand Neredmet Railway Station for express train halts

The Train Travellers Association (TTA) has submitted a representation to the South Central Railway (SCR) authorities seeking an extension of platforms at Neredmet Railway Station to accommodate 24-coach trains.In a press release issued on Sunday, the association said longer platforms would enable mainline express trains operating from the Cherlapalli side towards Lingampalli to halt at Neredmet, providing a major convenience to thousands of passengers living in the surrounding areas.TTA president Noor Ahmed Ali said the proposed Road Under Bridge (RUB) at Neredmet has gained momentum following the foundation stone laying ceremony conducted earlier this year by Malkajgiri MP Etela Rajender and Malkajgiri MLA Marri Rajasekhar Reddy.As the RUB project is expected to start shortly, he urged ra
