The distillery, which was founded in 2020, has described the new release as "incredibly special for our family and team".On Friday, September 4, Jackton Distillery in the village of Jackton officially launched the RAER Single Malt Scotch Whisky, The Inaugural Release. The release is a milestone for the Lowland producer, which is based on the Kean family farm near Scotland's largest city.The first bottles of the whisky will begin shipping today, bringing locally distilled single malt whisky back to South Lanarkshire after nearly two centuries.
