SCCL officials review coal transportation from Odisha’s Naini coal mine

Senior officials of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) on Tuesday reviewed coal transportation logistics at the Naini Coal Mine in Odisha to ensure seamless daily transportation of coal to the nearby railway sidings and local consumers as per the stipulated targets.The meeting was chaired by SCCL Director (Personnel & Finance) Gowtham Potru and Executive Director (Coal Movement) B. Venkanna.Representatives of major coal consumers, including Jindal Steel, Jindal India Power Limited, Meenakshi Energy Limited and Tamil Nadu Power Generation Corporation Limited (TNPGCL) besides coal transportation agencies, attended the meeting, according to an SCCL press release.Addressing the meeting, Mr. Gowtham said the Naini Coal Mine was expected to produce six million tonnes of coal annually.Th
